7 sushi (Minneapolis)

wendyroo Jul 12, 2008 06:20 PM

We were sat immediately and after that, everything went downhill fast. We didn't have anyone come to our table for 15 minutes, and we had to find a waiter to get service. They ran out of two kinds of their sake we wanted, the glasses had lipstick marks all over them, the sushi plates were chipped. The manager was very unresponsive. And to top it all off, the sushi was crummy. If you want good sushi in minneapolis and GREAT service, go to sushi tango!

I had never heard of this place but you've saved me from trying it. Has it just opened?

I think the OP is referring to se7en above R. Norman's on Hennepin, but that is a guess. And if you want better sushi that is closer to the theater district, go to Origami or Nami.
