Boba Needed

Anyone know of a good Boba shop in WLA. We live near Olympic & Robertson.

Just noticed a boba cafe (possibly w/ this name) while exiting National off the 405 north, which would be just w. of Sepulveda (on National). Same strip mall as a very boastful burger place and (defunct?) taco shop. It may have been here a while but for some reason I just noticed it.

Anyone been?

i think its called boba loca or something like that. it's a korean owned boba shop. it's pretty good boba and has good prices. they have ice cream and frozen yogurt, too. i like that they make their boba fruit smoothies with real fruit and juice and will leave out the flavored syrups if you ask. they also have bing-su, the korean shaved ice dessert, but i haven't tried it.

Go to Sawtelle.

Volcano & Lollicup both have good boba (Volcano is a bit better).

If distance is no problem, then Ten Ren Tea in Chinatown or San Gabriel is the gold standard.

Perhaps the best boba in town is at Volcano Tea Shop on Sawtelle, and there are a number of other places on Sawtelle. Also in Westwood Village, too. Is this too far west?

If you want a boba specialty shop I think there are a couple which are also on S Beverly close to Urth, but I am blanking on their names (maybe someone else will chime in).

Boba @ Urth? (Maybe I'm misreading this)

I live around the corner - there's a Pinkberry that sort of resembles a boba place, but nothing else comes to mind. Closest ones I know of are in the tea/coffee shops in K-town which are east on Olympic around Western, so sort of a haul.

Boba at Urth not good, need a Boba chain or Korean owned place. There is actually one in BH triangle on Camden next to my Lawyers office.
