Pizzeria Mozza - Recommendations

I've heard the polarizing comments on Pizzeria Mozza, but I'm going tonight and wanted to get some good food recommendations. I have been once before and tried the fennel sausage pizza and mushroom pizza (both I thought were fantastic), and the budino for dessert. Any other recommendations would be fantastic. Thanks!

My faves are: marrow, beets with horseradish, chicken liver crostini, whatever the fresh salumi pizza offering is, white anchovy pizza, pineapple pizza, potato & gorgonzola dolce pizza, and the fresh gelato for desert or the salted peanut, marshmallow desert dish - pretty much all of the deserts are good.

    2. My favorites are: mussels with Calabria sauce, shrimp with melon and mint, pizza with egg and guanciale, and pizza with rapini and cherry tomatoes. Still have to try the bone marrow!

        I second the egg and guanciale pizza.

      2. They serve their lamb stracotto on Saturdays and it is fabulous! Stracotto basically means cooked very slowly at a low temperature. Therefore, this leg of lamb is basically falling off the bone tender. It is seasoned beautifully and is the best tasting thing I have ever eaten at the Pizzeria. Yes, it's better than the pizza. It was recommended to me by the bartender with the handlebar mustache. He is my new friend!

          That's Sean. He's been there since day 1 and is as insane as he is enthusiastic and knowledgeable.

        2. The fried squash blossoms with ricotta -- amazing. Very light, crisp, perfect. A don't miss! Enjoy.

          1. Get the bianca pizza, but ask for it with bacon. The manager suggested this the first time I was there and irder every time now.
