What are the top couple of fine-dining restaurants in the city? Stylish, creative, etc. Thanks!

I have not been there but Beverly's at the Coeur d' Alene Resort is a DiRoNA member. That is a good place to start. I'm going to CDA later this year so be sure to report on what you find there.

Fine dining? In CDA? I doubt you'll find it. There's certainly good restaurants, including Beverly's mentioned above, but nothing that would really be considered "stylish, creative, fine dining."

I have not been to Coeur d'Alene for several years, but when we last stayed at the resort we found what we consider to be a true gem of a dining experience. It was called The Wine Cellar and I have found it for you here: http://www.coeurdalenewinecellar.com/

The bistro is below ground in the wine cellar and the food was fabulous. Simply prepared, many local ingredients, excellent flavors, and the prices were very good for the food we got. I have never forgotten the lamb ossobuco which was served with a creamy polenta back then. It was the best restaurant version of the dish that I have ever had. Having just gone over their current menu I would love to go back! I do not love that area to visit but if I ever have to go back, the Wine Cellar would be a must stop.

i'm not sure about stylish fine dining in CDA ...but there is a great steakhouse call wolf lodge inn .. after years of traveling to place like CDA for work I have given up trying to replicate urban dining experiences but instead find it much more rewarding to find local restaurants that do something unique .. to that end I also recommend Hudson's Hamburgers.
