Lake Lure, NC

Does anyone know the name of that restaurant that's right on Lake Lure just as you're driving past? Seems like it's a two-story place with a glass front, so that the whole place overlooks the lake?

Whenever we would drive past, it always looked like such a nice location. And now as it happens, we find ourselves there on my daughter's 9th birthday. I'm looking for a place that might be suitable for a crowd of us to have dinner.

Thanks for your help!

      Here is their site:

I ate there a few years ago. Food was very mediocre. My friend who choose it thought it was fantastic - she rates Pizza Hut buffet as a fav...

Service was adequate, view was very nice and they have the space to accommodate a large group. The downside to the patio was the noise. It was a beautiful day and there were tons of bikers enjoying the weather. The motorcycle noise really carried to the patio to the point of having to frequently suspend conversation.

        Thanks, y'all.

I think the most important thing - apart from the view - will be space and the ability to just reserve a section (~ 25 ppl) and tell people that's where will be if they care to join us. And in a situation like that, sometimes the service aspect is more important than the food. I'm already dreading the "western" BBQ we'll be having for lunch that day! (All that brown sauce.....)
