Weekend lunch at Sonoma Plaza (Town Center)?
We have not been there for a few years, but will be having lunch there. I could not find a list of restaurants in the Plaza, but I think that there are some famous/fabulous places that are not to be missed. Where would you recommend?
Search this Board for Sonoma. Look for Napa and Spain Streets, also First Streets East & West – the streets that border the plaza. There are many, many reported on here. Sonoma is a tourist town & most places will be open for weekend lunches.

The Red Grape Pizza, great fresh made pizza's and specials and they have outside seating, local wines by the glass and beer on tap! Kids welcome! Owned by a local couple.
Deuce, A fine dining restaurant, two blocks off the plaza run by a local husband and wife. Great specials, I love the Mussels and the seafood dishes always seem to be delicious!
Meritage, a seafood bistro stye restaurant, a fun menu and great service. Full bar, local wines and lots of fun seafood specials! One block west of Sonoma Plaza.
The Depot Hotel, one block north of Plaza. Run by the chef/owner and his wife.
They do a great job, fine local wines by the glass, really fresh pasta dishes and ask about any specials. A true local gem!
Enjoy!

I'm not a fan of Duece. It seems like more of a locals place to me and I don';t mean that in a good sense. I mean if you are a regular local they will treat you well. There is so much better food in Sonoma with much better service.

My wife and daughter enjoyed La Salette on several visits. Additional sites noted on this link.
