Art Mells Spicy Dicy on St Monica''s Road in Pembroke - enormous fish sandwiches; Dorothy's on Chancery Lane for best burgers; Specialty Inn near Collector's Hill in Smith's - home cooking; House of India on North Street in Hamilton; DeGraff's lunch cart, City Hall parking lot - beef pies; Green Lantern on Serpentine Road - home cooking; the MarketPlace, Supermart in town are packed at lunchtime with Bermudians getting local dishes from the self-service area. Check with the doorman at Elbow for directions and further suggestions.

Definitely Green Lantern for traditional Bermuda cod fish and potatoes breakfast.
The Paraquet is right by Elbow Beach/Elbow Beach Hotel, diner style, milkshakes are nice and thick.
House of India for sure. It's been compared to some of the best indian take out in the UK, high praise for a little island. They're closed for reno's though 15, 16 and 17 of this month.
Athena's pretty spot on with the recommendations. The only beaches with attached concessions is Tobacco Bay (St. George's) and Horseshoe Bay (Southampton). All others will require a bit of walking.
Hope this helps!
