Location for Baby shower in Gramercy?

Any restaurant suggestions for a baby shower in Gramercy? Lots of food-lovers in this crew and we like our booze as well. Totally casual is cool - none of us made of $$$. I was thinking Bar Milano, but I'd like a couple of more options.

Thanks!

We had our baby shower in May at Trattoria Alba on 34th. They have a private room upstairs, food was very good, they have several different packages that range from reasonable to off-the charts.

Also check out The Water Club - very pricey but great views and excellent food.

maybe trattoria alba is better now, but years ago when i lived a couple of blocks away i had a few meals there, and the food was really forgettable.

We're a big italian family who don't mess around when it comes to our italian food, and Alba got great reviews on the food. It's not Il Mulino to be sure, but definitely good standards.

Although I will say that the decor was a bit plain, but the family dressed it up a bit for the baby shower.

Bar Milano will be $$$. I have seen many baby showers at Dos Caminos that look like fun. A little further away is Blue Water Grill that as a downstairs available for parties, showers, etc. Before I suggest more, you're thinking of doing a brunch/lunch thing is that correct?
