Lamb burger recipe
I need a new recipe for lamb burgers/patties. The one I used last was an absolutely delicious kofta-style recipe from Martha Stewart with garlic, onions, cayenne pepper, and coriander powder. I'd like a recipe that is a little different from the usual Mediterranena/Greek/Indian style. I'm thinking maybe Asian or Italian. Any ideas? Thanks a lot.

For anyone else who was intrigued by the ones you mentioned that you previously made here is a link. Thanks for mentioning, I'll be making these very soon! http://www.seriouseats.com/recipes/20...
On the Recipes section of Chowhound there is a recipe for Asian Beefburgers and I'm thinking you could sub lamb for the beef for Asian-inspired lamb burgers.

I use Penzey's rosemary, garlic powder and cracked black pepper on the outside of the lamb patty, and "cheese" them with havarti a minute before they are done. I serve on a bun on a nest of Boston lettuce, and mint sauce. They take slightly longer to cook than beef, and really plump up, as you know.
