Anyone interested in seeing wheatfree recipes here??

There is a large number of us that are allergic to Wheat/gluten...and or have Celiac.
It would be a great idea to have some recipes or recommendations of restaurants that serve "wheat/gluten" free foods.

It's very difficult to find "Good" reccipes for baking without the use of "Wheat" flour that
tastes good.

There is a real need to find a simple recipe for making bread..that doesnt
"crumble" or tastes dry.

Whole Foods does make a sandwich bread..but again..
it's dry and crumbles when used for sandwiches...unless toasted..it somewhat retains a
more "solid" consistency.

I and I'm sure alot of others out there would love to hear from readers and CHOW
about Wheat Free Baking.

    1. This probably should be on the General Topics board. There are a few gluten intolerant people on the board. You should probably try doing a search for "gluten" to get more responses.

This website should help you get started locating gluten-free restaurants.

And you should really look at some posts by poster goodhealthgourmet. She has celiac disease and has wonderful ideas for a lot of recipes in the Home Cooking Board.

        1. If you're interested in discussing wheat/gluten free recipes with other members, the Home Cooking board would be the place to post -- http://www.chowhound.com/boards/31
