Ruth's Chris Summer Celebration

We took advantage of this $89 for two special last night at the Ruth's Chris in Anaheim, CA and were quite pleased with our meals. There were 4 of us and we had reservations. We were seated promptly and the Summer Celebration menu was included in the menus that we were given. We all ordered the Summer Celebration and were pleasantly surprised at the quantity and quality of our meals. Our entree choices included a 4 oz petit filet, a trio of a petit filet, a stuffed chicken breast and a crab cake, fish of the day, or just stuffed chicken breasts. We also had 3 choices of salad, including Caesar, mixed green, or chopped. Each person was able to select a side dish and the choices there were broccoli, creamed spinach, grilled tomatoes, au gratin or mashed potatoes. To top all this off, we had a choice of several items for dessert, one per couple.

we all enjoyed everything we ordered and would recommend this special to anyone who would like to dine at Ruth's Chris for less than $100 each.

Sounds pretty good! I might have to try this out. Do we know when it ends?

Morton's is also running a special for $99. Includes a larger filet and dessert for each person. You have to reserve on-line.

I wasn't very impressed with Morton's special when I went last year. Ruth's Chris offers more of a variety. Has anyone else had this? It sounds pretty good.

Do you know how big Morton's filet is for the special?

            I believe it was 8oz.

I went with family about two weeks ago. If you go with an odd-number of people, the third person can pay half the price and get a dessert to him/herself. My only complaint was that most of the sides I prefer there are not on the summer menu.
