Astoria lunch stops

Taking the 7 out to the Mets game and was hoping to stop in Astoria for lunch before the game. Any can't-miss places relatively close to the Subway? Willing to walk a couple of blocks but don't have a lot of time so I can't venture too far.

Of course, if there is something amazing, I'd be willing to venture a little bit farther. Any type of cuisine is fine. Thanks in advance.

Consider Malagueta Brazilian & Continental at 2535 36th Ave (closed on Monday). They serve lunch starting at Noon. Excellent food and reasonable prices. Do a search on Google & Chowhound. You can view Menu on bridgeandtunnelclub.com.

I may be confused, but the 7 train doesn't really go to Astoria. You're better off getting eats in Sunnyside, Woodside or Jackson Heights.
