Coffee places in Venice?
I have been reading the posts for the last year and I have finally posted something! Any recommendations for a good coffee place in Venice? I am looking for a place with atmosphere, but the main deal is the coffee
Thanks in advance, chowhounds.

Cow's End? At Pacific and Washington

Also, Joni's Coffee Roasters on Washington in a strip mall with, oh, a Baskin Robbins, a Noah's Bagel etc. at Palawan, I think. It's the Marina, really. They roast their own. Also serves breakfast and lunch. Indoor and outdoor seating. Bring your dog.
Gourmet Coffee Warehouse, on Rose, for pc, eco-friendly, support your local community coffee (if it's a nice day there's a small pleasant patio outside, otherwise, it's to go)
Their URL: http://www.gourmetcoffeewarehouse.com...
French Market Cafe - on Abbot Kinney, south of Venice. The coffee isn't that great in my opinion - it's kind of mellow, no dark roast, but the patio is lovely (except for the smoking), and the fresh baguettes are terrific. Bring your dog.
Abbots Habit - Abbot Kinney at California. Coffee is good and the service in the morning is pretty fast. Indoor tables. Weird crowd outside - hangout for panhandlers.
And another place I like in the Marina is in the plaza at Admiralty and Mindanao (with Ralphs, the post office, California Pizza Kitchen) - I can't remember the name. Regular coffee is good, nice outdoor seating, friendly people, barstools inside, lots of regulars. Sorry I can't remember the name.
Wow. I drink too much coffee.

I would avoid Cafe Collage on NE corner of Windward and Pacific. It seems to be popular, but the last time I went there, when I asked to use the restroom I was directed instead to a posted LAMC Code sign which presumably stated why they were not required to keep a restroom for patrons. No apology was offered for this unacceptable situation. I don't know if the no-john policy is a permanent one, but don't care to return and find out. A coffeehouse without a restroom? Forget about it.
