bistro in Rennes?

Just replying to bump this up to the top -- I'm headed there myself at the end of the month. Food suggestions for Rennes itself and Mont Saint Michel would be much appreciated. Any kind, but we are travelers on a budget.

Avoid La Mere Poulard on the Mont, it is tré cher and dreadful. Oysters in Cancale around the bay towards St Malo are as good as they can be and the French oyster museum is there as well. Best view of the Mont also.

I ended up eating crepes in Rennes twice- didn't visit any bistros! Walked past the Creperie St Anne recommened above, which had a nice location, but just ended up visiting various creperies when I was hungry.

The first night, I had a fairly innovative salt caramel crepe with tonto (sp? or something like that) ice cream and chantilly cream near the old town, and the second day, I had a simple lemon and sugar crepe near the river IIRC.

Not really a bistro, but the Creperie St. Anne, right on the square, is truly excellent, and very reasonable.
