I'm not 100% positive, but I had a pear margarita at Anisette on Saturday night that I'm almost certain was only made with fresh juice.

I would say Hungry Cat also! They have great cocktails and I remember having a melon margarita that actually had crushed melon from the local Farmers Market. Yum!

Houston's makes their margarita mix from scratch every day. Does that count?

the problem with most of the mixes, freshly made or not, is that they are heavily sugared. a classic margarita should not, imho, contain sugar from the 'mix,' it should get all it's sweetness from the triple sec or the cointreau.

nonetheless, i will call houstons today to see if they can make me one without the added sugar--thanks for the tip. there is a houstons 5 minutes from my house so this would be a BIG find.

at border grill (thank you so much for recommending them 'recovering vegetarian'), they will make it without the sugar; they call it their 'classic' margarita (i guess, to most folks a sugared drink would be a 'normal' margarita).
