Depending on what part of town you're looking in, the Taco Mac chain tends to have good wings. And a better beer selection than Moe's & Joe's. Although that comes with many more screens and much less of the been-there-for-60-years atmosphere.
In the ex-urbs, there's also the Summits Wayside Tavern in Kennesaw, Cumming, and Snellville. Basically Taco Macs that split off from the chain a few years ago.
That said, beer prices at either are not the greatest, and they're famous for nickel and diming you for extras (want spinach and jalapenos on your $8 quesadilla, that'll be an extra $2; I exaggerate, but you get the idea). And for being out of the first 3 beers you ask for. But the wings are definitely good- like twice the size of the cold, scrawny ones I had at Turner Field last week.
Charlie Mopp's on Roswell (former Summits location) is only worth it if everyone smokes or you sit outside. I almost wonder if they have a special system just to concentrate the smoke in the air.
In Cobb, there's Wild Wing Cafe. Good folks in terms of doing beer tastings, etc; I just haven't been enough to form an opinion.
