The Delancey-Roof

Does anoyone know if you can make reservations there for cocktails and apps?

They will take a res for a group for the roof, and do not require a credit card to do so (a huge plus). As the other poster noted, I don't think they serve food.

Also, as they pointed out, it's a bar - there are picnic tables, etc. Not "upscale" but a fun spot if you're going for drinks...

Pretty sure the Delancey doesn't serve food unless they have a BBQ night outside. I highly doubt they take reservations either. It's kind of a dump - for lack of better description.

Honestly, this has been my dilemma for years. There are no rooftop bars downtown that I know about besides 60 Thompson - which you need a 'key' for. If you want something outside and garden-esque, you could try DBA in the EastVil. I don't work downtown anymore- but sometimes I go to the Maritime Hotel in Chelsea however it's quite a scene and I can usually only handle one drink before I trek back to my Brooklyn neighborhood where outdoor space is a plenty.
