Dinner stop between Amherst and Utica?

College tour trip is taking us on this route, and I'd love a dinner recommendation. Nothing fancy, just some good food. Thanks!

  1. Could you narrow it down a bit? That's wide area... what route are you taking? The pike or backroads? Do you want something near Amherst or someplace that is really in between?

    1. If you are going through Albany on I90, (the portion without tolls), the Albany Pump Station is an option.

      1. To clarify, we're going on the turnpike. Leaving Amherst around 5, so dinner either near Amherst or elsewhere on the way to Utica are options.
