Dinner stop between Amherst and Utica?

College tour trip is taking us on this route, and I'd love a dinner recommendation. Nothing fancy, just some good food. Thanks!

    Dinosaur BBQ in Syracuse. Right off I695. Check their website for directions.

      To clarify, we're going on the turnpike. Leaving Amherst around 5, so dinner either near Amherst or elsewhere on the way to Utica are options.

        If you are going through Albany on I90, (the portion without tolls), the Albany Pump Station is an option.

          Could you narrow it down a bit? That's wide area... what route are you taking? The pike or backroads? Do you want something near Amherst or someplace that is really in between?
