Pre-theater dinner with a teen

My GF and I are taking my niece to see Rent for her 13th birthday and I was looking for some restaurant ideas.

She is a picky eater (I took her to Union Square Cafe and while she loved what she had, she was not open to trying much.

I dine everywhere, but my usual spots are Artisanal, Babbo, and Gotham B&G.

Location is not much of a concern as we should have plenty of time before the show.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

What did your niece have at USC? It would be helpful know what foods she does like so that we can make appropriate suggestions.

I don't recall the entree, but she had a pesto gnocchi to start and a flour less chocolate cake for desert.

While she is a picky eater I can easily come up with a place, but i was hoping someone might read this and have a 'perfect' idea.
