Tijuana Flats in Charlotte

friek Jul 8, 2008 12:36 PM

Has anyone tried this place? Back when I was in college in Orlando there was one right down the street that was opened by some UCF graduates. I was kind of shocked to find one here in Charlotte as I had no idea they had turned into a chain. The food at the one in Orlando was great, as was the service, and the hot sauce bar was phenomenal. It was also pretty cheap, great for a starving student.

They have 60 locations in the southeast so it was only a matter of time before they found Pineville. I'm just saying.

I have eaten there twice and while I'm not a great mexican fan, this place is pretty good. The food was a notch above most of the others around here but what really set it apart for me was the friendliness of the staff. Unfortunately you just don't find that anymore. Even the younger teens working were very helpful and friendly to this older customer :). Kudoos to them.
