Pacific Beach is notorious for it's famous Pub Crawls. Wondering if anyone has a favorite pub or bar they like to include when making the rounds in the beach town?

You get a bunch of people together and then drink until you drop and are forced to crawl out the door. Or at least that's the usual way it works in PB. ;)

Just spent a day wandering PB. The Tap Room certainly has an impressive array of SD craft beers on draught.

Also there is a new brew pub down almost at the beach (Pacific Beach Ale House) at 721 Grand Ave. Tried a couple beers there and thought they were pretty good, if a bit pricey ($5 a glass).

The rotating taps at the Tap Room keep getting better. The selection has definitely reached a level at which it more than makes up for the lame 80s guitar rock they play most of the time...

I stopped in at the PB Ale House last week during happy hour ($3 beers). I really liked their IPA - a solid version of the west coast style.

Yah, it's, PB Ale House, been open since May, it's pricey, they must a huge rent nut.

Stopped in again a couple of weeks ago and was impressed by the beers they brew. The lager, pale ale, and hefeweizen are all pretty good. And yeh, their rent must be high. They are the 3rd or 4th business to occupy that location in the last 10 years.

I enjoy taco tuesday at PB Bar & Grill. $1.75 tacos and enchiladas, Mexican entree specials, $3 frozen margaritas, $2.50 Mexican beers. It pulls a fun crowd.

Love a great dive bar and I will always be a Lahaina's girl!
Spent many a Sunday's on the beach cruiser, hitting Coaster, Stage Door, World Famous, Pennant, Beachcomber..those were some fun times..hee hee

Beach Chick. The Pennant and Beachcomber! Sunday afternoons after the beach. Ahhh that takes me back. Wonder what the demographic is at those places now.
