Hello,

Thursday, I am attending an Alouettes game at Stade Molson. The game is at 19:00.

Any good restaurants in the vecinity?

    Thanks all for the ideas!

We ended up going at Amelio's pizza. I'm happy we went there. I probably never would have gone there without the recommendation. It's kinda discret, no flashy signs or the likes. It's a small place, got there at 17:00 and it was empty, but it was full when we left around 18:00.

The pizza was very good. I had the white pizza (it is very cheesy) and my dad had the italian sausage one. The pizzas came with a small salad.

Restaurant doesn't have fries if you like your pizza with them.

cost us 25$ with the wine we had brought with us.

Anyways, was very good. Too bad the Alouettes didn't win...

It's actually a good thing they don't have fries, it means they probably take their pizza seriously. It has always amazed that places offered fries with the pizza? Isn't the pizza enough in itself? I mean, if you need to have fries on the side, you need to find a new place to pizza at.

Amelio's Pizza is on Ste Famille and Milton, and it's bring your own wine. Big cheesy pizzas, good stuff. Nothing fancy.

Mmm, and their apple pie (with cheese!) is fantastic.

The white pizza (five cheeses) is worth a trip in itself...

Do tell me more about this item! i.e. what kind of cheese, etc.

Go to Café Santropol, it's close to the stadium, nice terrasse, good sandwiches and salads and juices and stuff like that...

a bit on the "hyppie" side of things, but it kind'of a cool place.

hi, a few block from santropol on marie anne and I think, 2 or 3 street east of st-laurent, there's DOVAL portugese grill. I my memory is correct, for 50$ we had chicken grilled, fish and even wine. If not further doen on st-laurent right before pine avenue is MAIN STEAK house for a very good and cheap$$$$ steak on charcoal.

We are open to pretty much anything. We will be arriving in Mointreal around 16:30, 17:00 and we want to be at the game in time. Budgwet, about 40-50 $ for 2
