Bonjour! My husband and I (in our late 20's) are staying near the Sorbonne and we are looking for some good restaurant recommendations for around 30 euro per person. Any suggestions?

Lots and lots of recommendations in previous threads.

For the 5th and 6th arr:

For more, just enter Quartier Latin, 5th, 6th, etc. into the search box and you'll come up with other threads.

Bouillon Racine, on rue Racine, is an old standby with decent food and prix-fixe menus at 15.50E for lunch and 29E at dinner. Happy Hour too. Good selection of beers etc.

I have enjoyed Chez Maitre Paul for many years and still find it an excellent value, specializing in cuisine of the Jura/France Comte region. Their poulet gratinee is one of my favorite chicken dishes of all time and their Montebellard suasage and potatoes in oil is a simple, delicious starter. Also, comte cheese and ham salad, chicken in vin Jaune, etc. Not all Chowhound reports have been positive, but I have always felt welcome and very satisfied here. Three-course dinner menu: 30 euros.

I like Chez Maitre Paul, as well.
