Romantic Bar West of Boston between 128 and 495

I looking for a somewhat unusual spot in the suburbs of Boston-a romantic bar. A place that's common in cities-particularly in hotels. Quiet, comfortable, not too crowded where I can have a romantic interlude with my girlfriend. Thanks for any suggestions.

Hmmmm...tough one....is Rt. 9 in/around Framingham an option for you? If so, perhaps Rat Pack Cafe? Better option the earlier you are there, particularly on a weekend night if that's when you're visiting. Could be very quiet & romatic, but the later it gets, it the noisier. Kind of reminds me of a 'hotel bar' as it has a grand piano in the center. Dark & cozy too.

Someone gave me a gift certificate for this place, and then they closed. Oh well. But driving past the other day it looked like the marquee had changed. Did this place reopen? Eating in metrowest is no picnic (ar ar) but I'd like to at least be able to drink my gift.

Tomasso's, Rt.9 in Southborough? Serviceable Italian, nice space... I think it's kinda romantic.
