Late night (around 11) Portland ME eats?
I'll be flying into Portland on Friday night and would love a good place to grab a very late dinner that night...I've checked a few of my stand-bys, including Hugo's, Fore Street, The Great Lost Bear, Jay's Oyster bar, but the kitchens will already be closed. Does anyone have some good recommendations for a little bit later at night?
Thanks!

The Grill Room serves their bar menu very late and you can sit outside if it's nice

Sebago Brewing Company on the middle of Middle St and Market serves pretty decent brewpub fare and they serve until at least 12:30, also with outdoor seating.
Vignola also serves until midnight

I went to eat at the Grill Room both Friday and Saturday night. I really don't see myself going out to dinner at any other restaurant in the near future.
I had the filet mignon Friday night and it was so good. I eat pizza every single day of the year due to being part of a family business, but we decided to try their pepperoni pizza as an app and I was really impressed. Everything my wife had both nights, she loved too.
The place is just refreshing for Portland. Finally something with upscale food, but no attitude at all in a really nice location. Fun to people watch outside too if you get a table out there.
To be honest, the part I like the most about the place is that everybody who works there looks and acts professional. Harding stays at the helm and he runs a real tight ship from the looks of it.
So yeah, go there. You won't need a reservation for that time.
