Dinner near Lincoln Center

My uncle is taking us to see South Pacific so we need to find a great restaurant before the show. And he is willing to spend the $$$

I was just at Bar Boulud and totally recommend it. Their pates and terrines are so delicious! Great wine selection as well!

If money is not an issue, I would definitely choose Picholine. A few weeks ago, we had a superb dinner there.

I have always liked Compass. We had not been there since Chef Neil Annis's return. We liked his food during his first tour of duty there; however, unfortunately, I must report that our dinner there two weeks ago was a disappointment. It's not that the food was bad. But there were serious flaws in conception, i.e, dishes composed of too many elements which were not in any way cohesive. So, at this point, I cannot recommend Compass as we will not be going back anytime soon.

Second Picholine, if you want to be close to Lincoln Center and money is no object. We had a very memorable meal there a few years back, and I hear it has only gotten better. Save room for cheese!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you don't mind a bit of a walk, Jean Georges and Per Se are just a few blocks away at Columbus Circle!

we just went to the ballet at lincoln center and went to Telepan. A little bit of a walk 69th & Columbus, but well worth it. We were 2 couples and all four of us enjoyed every bite. we did the 4 course tasting menu for $64 but you can order a la carte as well.
