Will be in PCB later this summer for a couple of days. Any suggestions on where to get good food. I'm a Louisiana girl and would like to find something other than chain restaurants. Interested in anything from seafood to Chinese or BBQ.

For BBQ, there is no better place than "Outlaws:. Address: 2875 West 23rd street. It's in town, so you'll have to cross the bridge. However, it's not that far once you do. Locally owned and has won "Best of Bay County" for BBQ. Any dish they have is great. Ask for their special "mayo". Smoked tuna appetizer is the best I've had.

Okay, I get that this is an old post, but in case anyone else wants to know, here are the 3 places we highly recommend: shuckems (only if you are an oyster lover), St. Andrew's Shrimp Boat, and the Boar's Head Restaurant (don't think cold cuts). Boar Head has great game dinners with Duck and Venison, and the early bird specials are AWESOME. Shrimp Boat is where we get our seafood fix also has great early bird, and shuckems is all about the oysters, although the beer steamed shrimp is really good too!
