Rehearsal Dinner in Portsmouth Area?

Hi All,

My sweetheart and I are getting married in the Portsmouth, NH area (Barrington) in August and we're looking for a good place for the rehearsal dinner for 18-20 people. Fairly expensive is okay. A private room would be nice but not an absolute requirement. Any suggestions?

New England Center aka Acorns at UNH is nearby, large, and fairly quiet during the summer. Lovely food. Huge, architecturally amazing dining room nestled among the tall tall trees.

The Victory is an option. I like their food. It will interest a foodie without turning off a meat & potato person. They have a private dining room.

Wentworth by the Sea could be a classy option, nice views also.

Zampa's owners open the Governor Prescott House in Epping to groups. The food is delicious (local ingredients used creatively) and the location is beautiful.

you could have the whole top floor and walk around Prescott Park or Strawberry Bank before dinner
