Just wanted to add a plug for this restaurant - haven't seen it posted about lately. The food is Burmese. The menu is large, and we've never had a bad meal. It's interesting food, and very reasonably priced. If you're looking for an alternative to Chinese food next time you're in Philadelphia, give this a try. The servers are very attentive and pleasant, and the owner is very gracious. It's on 9th street north of The Gallery.
I second. Burma's (I don't recognize the Myanmar regime) location gives it the culinary influences of China, India and Thailand. And, yes, the menu selections at Rangoon are about as extensive as you'll find anywhere. Its just the place to take a group of six or eight good friends and share everything for a range of new taste experiences.
