Waltham Recommendation?
Hi, staying in Waltham for a night and looking for a dinner recommendation. Nothing too fancy, but what's really good in the area? I've been there before, but it's been a long time. Just looking for a great place. Thanks!

Hopefully im not too late for you. There are a few great places to eat in Waltham within a short distance from each other. It all really depends on what you’re in the mood for.
Japanese/Sushi- Ponzu, located on moody st., my favorite place for sushi in the Boston area
Italian- Biagios on moody st., towards the end near main st., pricey but very fresh and delicious
Bar/American-Watch City Brewery is good but if you really want a great meal head to Sadies right around the corner, its a real dive but has great wings and tips
Thai- Tree Top Thai on Prospect st. is great

Some places I like:
Cheap: Taqueria El Amigo (authentic Mexican), Mi Tierra (Salvadoran / Guatemalan), Beijing Star (authentic Northern & Eastern Chinese, only if you order off the pink menu and the foyer whiteboard), Sushi Yasu (Korean / Japanese, I prefer the former), Sadie's (American saloon, great steak tips). Jewel of India (mainly Punjabi).
Mid: Elephant Walk (good Cambodian, plus so-so French), Solea (Spanish, tapas).
Pricey: La Campania (high-end Neapolitan), Il Capriccio (fancy Central and Northern Italian, awesome wines).

re: MC Slim JB
According to this site, http://www.waltham-community.org/rest... Jewel of India has been closed and gutted.
I used to go there for the lunch buffet a few years ago until it nose dived.

I am a fan of Il Capricio, but it is expensive.
