Hell's Kitchen Recommendations

I recently moved to 51st and 9th ave, and am looking for some good restaurant recommendations, since the vast amount of choices can sometimes be overwhelming, and I don't want to waste my time on sub par food. Any input would be much appreciated.

Hell's Kitchen (the actual restaurant) -- amazing food and drinks -- never let me down. Same owners from the original Rocking horse.

I was just going to post Hell's Kitchen! We had an excellent dinner there a few nights ago, after not having been there in a while (for no particular reason). Service and food were fine (huitlacoche tamal, grilled shrimp with a serrano sauce, skirt steak tacos). We've also had some very good lighter meals (small plates, individual and inventive pizzas, etc.) at Nizza, on 9th between 44th and 45th (nice wine by the glass selection, too).

,,,and ditto RGR, particularly Marseille, a personal favorite - and add West Bank Cafe on 42nd just west of 9th.

To RGR's rec's I'll tack on Azuri Cafe, Pam Real Thai for noodle dishes and curry puffs, Wondee Siam I for curries and soups, Tehutzingo, Queen of Sheba, Greek Kitchen, Taboon, Daisy May's BBQ, Sullivan Street Bakery, and Sandwich Planet.
