Wheat-free Ethiopian in DC/NoVa?

I'm looking for a good Ethiopian place that doesn't use wheat in their injera. I've heard in Ethiopia they only use teff but that most places in the US use wheat & teff. I hear rumor of a few places but I don't know for sure. Anyone? I miss Ethiopian food!

    1. When I read your post I knew I had read about an Ethiopian restaurant that suits your needs in the City Paper a while back. The article noted that most places use a mixture but this particular restaurant is teff only. I checked the City Paper web site and found it! It is called Meaza Ethiopian Cuisine and Café, http://www.washingtoncitypaper.com/di...

It is somewhere out in Falls Church but its wheat free and it got a very favorable review. Good luck!

It's on Columbia Pike across from Malibu Grill. I've always enjoyed the food there.
