Anyone know of a place like Charm City Cakes that is featured on "Ace of Cakes" on Food Network?

I haven't tasted one, but I'm always dumbfounded by their window display. To my eye they do finer work than Ace of Cakes.

Bewitching Elegance's stuff doesn't look as good, but I haven't seen it in person. Maybe the unappetizing colors are just due to bad photos.

I second I Dream of Cake - She's made some fabulous birthday cakes (Miss Piggy on a couch, Porsche, Strawberry Shortcake for the kids, Thomas the Train....) and we had her do our wedding cake. The best thing is that they do taste as good as they look - moist cake, we had almond and lemon flavors for our cake!

Fun cakes and cupcakes. My favorites are the mini-nigiri cakes and the (almost too lifelike) animals. Debbie was also featured on the Ace of Cakes show.

Perfect Endings in Napa does beautiful specialty cakes. You can't really tell from their website, but I've seen some of their unusual cakes. One was of a big "crab boil" pot that was featured on one of Michael Chiarello's show with Jan Birnbaum.

I had them make a cake for my aunt with a huge waterlily on the top, not only was it beautifully made but it was the most delicious cake....www.perfectendings.com.

I once wanted them to do a replica of an old fashioned camera for my Mom's birthday--they took polaroids of it and then ultimately decided they couldn't do it justice and so declined. Too bad.
