Help... need recs in/around Ambler for tonite

Just got tickets to a show at the Act II Playhouse in Ambler for this evening and wondered if there is anywhere to go after the show which will probably be over around 9:30ish. I've never been to Ambler so am very unfamiliar with the area. I'd say we'd be interested in mainly apps and drinks since it will be so late. Thanks for any suggestions! We'll be coming from the Wayne area so could maybe go somewhere on the way back if that helps.

  1. Whoops this is probably too late but KC's Alley in Ambler used to be a fun place to go after a nght of gaming. Good service and standard late night bar fare. The balcony is where I usually went because it is non-smoking. They do have a flat screen tv up there but it is easy to ignore. Haven't been since I changed my gaming venue, but seems like a solid choice. Let me know if you try it.

    1. Consider the Shanachie in downtown Ambler. Apps available include standards (wings etc) as well as Irish Smoked Salmon and Boxtys.

      1. There are lots of great spots in walking distance of the theater. Schanachie and KC's Alley are two great suggestions. Agave is another great option for margaritas and live music. My favorite post-theater activity in the summer is walking to Toto's for some fabulous gelato and sitting on the front porch of the cafe to enjoy the weather and people watch.

Thanks for the suggestions. The play (which was hilarious) wasn't over until a little after 10 pm, so it was a little too late. Ambler is such a nice looking town. We're planning on going back soon to try La Cava.
