Breakfast b/w downtown and Polk

My wife and I are going back to SF where we used to live. So much has changed. We are staying at the Omni on California in downtown. We also have an appointment on California near Polk so we are looking for a good breakfast place. We are open to any suggestions, but I don't want to go too far south on Polk unless it's amazing. My wife is a vegetarian, but I'm a carnivore. We also love experimenting with different types of omelletes, etc.
