Brewing beer, curing meat, or making cheese?

two nights in minneapolis and one in bemidji

And never been before. To either one. Where should we eat? And is there anything we need to be sure not to miss? Thanks!

    Of course, plenty of threads on "not miss" places in the Twin Cities (depending on how one defines "not miss"). So, to narrow it down... What type of cuisine, environment, etc, do you like?

      with absolutely no other info, i'd rec 112 eatery & heartland (st paul) as your 2 msp dinners. don't miss msp's great local foods and vietnamese/se asian food scenes. eat breakfast on the town, hit one of our great bakeries and one of our great top shelf ice cream parlors. if you have specific food interests/loves/preferences, the msp hounds are a wealth of info.

        Please note that Heartland is currently closed until July 15 for their annual staff holiday. If you're coming after the 15th, I agree it's a "must visit" place.
