dinner for 10-12 people, South of Houston, American
Looking for a place between downtown and Houston street (most live in Brooklyn, don't want to go to far uptown) for 10-12 people as a going-away for our beloved supervisor. Ideal price range for dinner entrees $15-25. Looking for not only quality food and pleasant ambiance but also good service (service for groups can be really bad). Preferably American food or with enough options to suit a variety of people. Please help!.

City Hall may be a good option since it's good food, and close to the city hall subway where most lines have stops. Although it's on the pricier end of your range.

Thanks Jorel. We went to Jane. I had lunch there last week to check it out and then dinner for our group of 12 last night. The food was great and the service was outstanding. Prix fixe menu - $40. We didn't use the downstairs room because that's just for really big groups, but it looked like a nice place to hold an event.
