Dinner with live music: Scottsdale/East Valley

For a music class that I'm taking I need to do a "concert review." The teacher is amenable to any type of live music however, except for purely instrumental/classical, so I'd like to combine this with an awesome meal :).

Can anyone suggest a good place to go for dinner tomorrow night that has live music?

I believe Kaz bar has live jazz on Thursday nights.

The lounge @ Eddie V's @ DC Ranch and Voce Lounge on Mtn View and Hayden...in Scottsdale.
I would suggest a reservation at both places as tables are premium.

Dvine Bistro and Wine Bar at Power and Thomas in Mesa has two acoustic guitar players on Thursday nights. They play reinterpretations (I consider them better than a straight up cover band) of famous songs - like a slow version of "Smells Like Teen Spirit." Very tasty food as well, the specials are almost always hits with us.
