There have been LOTS of recent posts about GREAT restaurants in Rome. Rather than have me type my favorites, let me point you to a few threads on this list -- if you check them out, you will have a list of super restaurant choices. I am unfamiliar with the choices you proposed, except for La Campana, which I thought was not that great. Look at Rome Favorites -- from this week, and there were lots of threads called "Rome Dining Lineup" and other threads. Another idea is to click on the threads where some of my favorite Rome fans -- people who post REALLY GOOD INFO AND IDEAS all the time, and whose recommendations I have taken and gone to restaurants I would never have gone to, but when I did, they made our last trip a total success. Those people are MBFant, CJT, Jen Kalb, Antonio, RomeAddict, Edible Complex, Erica, Chocoloatestilletto .... search those threads and you will come up with several nights' worth of memorable evenings! Have a great trip!

Our favorite meal was at Virginiae on a little street between the Piazza Navona and the Piazza Della Rotonda. Try to go for midday dinner on Sunday. The mama does all the cooking and Sunday's special is Porcini Lasagne! Not to be missed.
