Pillsbury frozen waffles

I would like to know if the Pillsbury frozen (square) waffles still exist. Has anybody seen them in any grocery store anywhere? They are far better than other brands and I really want to find some.

Pillsbury did indeed shut down their manufacturing facility in Allentown, PA several years ago. Apparently they were unable to gain enough market share over their primary competition ( Eggo) It did not make alot of sense to me since they were an 80+million dollar division of Pillsbury and were running at a profit. (according to the local paper reporting on the shut down). My family also loved these waffles both for the their taste and size. The square shape fit better in our toaster and didn't burn.

I corresponded with Pillsbury a good while back (more than a year). Their reply was that they had closed the factory and we would never see this great product again. I HATE
EGG-O. Like Log Cabin, but this almost-as-good brand is generally hidden in a corner of the waffle section.

I wrote Pillsbury a note about these waffles, the only truly tasty ones
ever on the market. EGG-O and others do not compare - - except,
maybe, Log Cabin. BUT, the latter are afforded only a small space
on the shelves, if at all. That means Log Cabin will disapppear if
someone in corporate doesn't wake up. Pillsbury advised that they
        closed their plant.

I thought I was the only one searching for those waffles. I have been to every supermarket in my area and I haven't seen them anywhere. My mother lives in a different county then I, and I had here go to her market to look. No luck, so I turned to pancakes.

I understand. I miss Morton's Frozen Honey Buns.

General Mills bought Pillsbury a few years ago, so there have been a lot of changes.

Thanks you guys. I guess I have to finally face it :( That choice is over.
My grandkids don't even know the difference but hey, I am still upset over the change of the original coke .
I suppose making them from scratch couldn't hurt me :)
