Hey there fellow Chow Hounders. I found this on my Facebook homepage and thought some of you might be interested.

Country Cuisine - Taste! of summer 2008. July 13, 2008

Local farmers and chefs join together to create and serve taste experiences. There'll be music, tastings and demonstrations. Tickets are on sale at Ticket Master for $15 (or a limited supply at the door - $20) and they only have enough for 350 people. I just checked ticketmaster and there are still tickets left. Also it's for 18+ and no pets allowed.

I don't know if DH and I will go. We've really gotten into golfing this year and are dumping our money into that. Although, food is a passion of mine and $15/each I don't think I could pass this up!! Ooooh I think I want to go :D

Has anyone been to something like this before? Were there ones previous years?

  1. I've gone in the past, I think it was the summer of 2005. The small stands that the farmers had there stood out more for me, and I remember coming home with a few purchases. (Incidentally, St. Albert has a great farmers' market).

I think its worthwhile checking out if you have the chance. And at that price, you should still have money left over to play a round on the course. :)
