Theresa's in Bay Head?

http://www.theresasrestaurant.com/

This is the link for the Theresa's in Westfield. I just found out they open one in Bay Head and it just opened this past weekend. Since it just opened, I will wait about 1 month or so to try it...so they can get all the kincks out. Has anyone tried it?

I like the one in Westfield, I only wish they would open a Mojave Grill down here, too!

Went a few years ago. Did not like it at all. Food was not so hot nor tasty.

The one in Westfield is, and I could only imagine how much a liquor license would cost in Bay Head....so my guess is Yes, it is BYOB

Went there a few week ago with another couple and we were all in agreement that the food was just average and the service lacking. A lot staff standing around doing nothing but no one paying attention to your needs. Also, they did nothing to change the layout, which does not work for this restaurant. The place reminds me of a hair salon -those mirrors simply got to go...

Went to Theresa's in Bay Head this Saturday and was disappointed. Service was not good and food was medicocre. I would not rush back any time soon.

Sorry to hear that Cat. We were about to try it last night but were too late for their last seating at 8PM. I wil put in on the backburner until others have had a chance to chime in.

Cat i disagree with your review of Theresa's South. I'm a regular up in Westfield and my sister in law has a house in Bayhead so whenever we come down we've been eating at Theresa's South. The food is fabulous and the service has been wonderful, the staff is filled with fun, energetic people who are willing to cater to all your needs. You said you went on a Saturday night, they get very busy Saturday's but then again they are busy every other night so I would try to go again and give it another chance.

A Mojave Grill down at the Shore would cause people's heads to explode. Too good, too unique in this sea of italian restaurants, sushi at irish pubs, pizza, and the occasional decent meal.

I am born-bred Monmouth County boy and, aside from a few favorite spots, I dislike many more restuarants than I like in the area.

I happen to agree with you. While not born and raised in Monmouth, there are more "bad" restaurants than good, hopefully that will change. We went to Bay Head Bistro last year or so, not impressed. I hope Teresa's will be better. As far as Mojave Grill, have not been there but did always hear good things about it. Not enough genuine ethnic in Monmouth County.

Theresa's South is located at 530 Main Avenue (Route 35) at the corner of Mount Street in Bay Head, NJ. Phone (732) 892-1555. It's located in space formerly occupied by the old Heatwave Cafe/Bay Head Bistro.
