Stella! / Stanley Update

My fiance and I headed to Stella! on Friday night for a post-engagement celebration. I'll keep the review short, it rocked. We were both highly impressed. All in all, we both put it at the top of our list above August, Herbsaint, & Brigsten's. The staff was professional, knowledgeable and responsive. The menu was progressive, innovative and clean. The gnocchi, perfectly prepared and explosive flavor; the risotto, expertly cooked. The dinners were the "fish and chips" with the tarot root chip for dipping in a sweet potato pure. Brilliant. All in all, we'll be back.

Also, for those concerned, upon questioning, our server informed us that Stanley is scheduled to open in August.

Thanks for validating my experience at Stella! Lately, there have been other dining experiences, that were less than stellar. I hate when that happens. I was beginning to believe that I had gotten fat, lazy and my palate dulled.

I hope to be able to fit Stanley (is there another "!" ?) in October.

My wife and I also completely enjoyed our Stella experience....tasting menu with wine pairing was excellent.
