Does anybody know of places in Manhattan to celebrate Bastille day this year?

There's a street fair on 60th (or 61st) every year. Don't know this year's date, though.

Gascogne. Les Halles. Or in Brooklyn Bar Tabac (complete with petanque). All 3 have major celebrations.

Bar Tabac is the best place to celebrate Bastille Day, almost all of Smith street is closed and the street's are filled with sand for petanque along with food vendors

Is that E. 60th (at the French Institute) or W.60th?

Cercle Rouge in Tribeca has a 3 course menu for $40 plus a band.

Scroll halfway down to the 'Gallic Fun" section of this short NY Sun article for info on events at Gavroche, Paris Commune and Payard Bistro.
