D'Parma in the N. End

My out-of-town uncle just called and invited me to dinner in the North End tonight. He's in town w/ his wife and 2 small kids, so I know he's looking for something family friendly, and inexpensive.

I was thinking of suggesting D'Parma.... inexpensive, and last I remember, pretty good. My uncle is not a Hound by any stretch.... so price and family-friendly atmosphere are the real key factors.

Has anyone been to D'Parma recently? Is it still as good as I remember? I haven't been in a loooong time.

  1. Do mean in Winthrop on Shirley St?, if so go it's very good old school Italian, and it's BYO.

    1. Sorry to tell you but I am pretty sure that D'Parma has been closed for quite some time.
You might want to give Artu a try as it is not terribly expensive and is pretty family friendly.

      1. I'm referring to D'Parma on the corner of Hanover & Commercial. Is it still there?

No, it is not. Try Antico Forno on Salem St. I think that would work for you.

D'Parma has been closed for some time now. I think it was the spot where the highly unanticipated Dunky was suppose to go. I agree with kallis33, try Antico Forno.
