Anyone know where I could find a Nigerian restaurant in Austin? How about other African cuisine?

  1. Check out T's Cafe in Pfluegerville. (if it's still in business?)

I'm not sure if this place is still in business as I last visited about 2 years ago. I think this was the first time I'd ever sampled Nigerian food and it was really pretty tasty stuff. Most of the authentic Nigerian menu items (they served burgers, too, but T himself is from Lagos) were similar to a beef or veggie stew. I had Peanut Soup and it had a very thick consistency and was mildly spicy.
I would go back, but I'm not in that neighborhood very often

    1. I don't know anything about it as I haven't eaten there, but there's an Ethiopian restaurant in Pflugerville as well. Addis Ethiopian Restaurant & Cafe on Grand Avenue Parkway.

      1. There is a great ethiopian place at just off 35 near Dean Keaton. Laid back, inexpensive and delicious.
