Don't know the price of just the chips, but I just bought at Costco a tub of Nestle Tollhouse Cookie Dough in the refrigerated section for about $7 (can't remember exactly) that makes 80 cookies. Just scoop and bake. Easy and delicious. Best wishes to you and your family. You make us proud.

Good of you to bake them! Thanks! You might consider making M&Ms cookies instead, though, to avoid the melting issues with normal chocolate chips. It gets incredibly hot over there, and melting in your mouth not in your hand would be a plus! Costco's a good idea. I'm not sure who else might retail large quantities. You might call the M&M store in Times Square, or Economy Candy in the LES...

Try Sahadis. They sell chocolate chips in their bulk section (by the dried fruit/nuts/candy). If they don't have enough in stock, you can try asking them to special order it for you.

How about just BJ's or Cosco? They carry Nestles in 5 lb. bags, I think.
