SOHO - Neighborhood Feel

Looking for help for a restaurant in SOHO. Have spent alot of money of well known restaurants. Now looking for a local, neighborhood place in SOHO to have dinner with my family. Not ethnic, nor eclectic, but to feel like the New Yorker I was when living there 5 years ago.

I really enjoy 24 Prince for a causal dinner. It is in NoLita (Prince and Mott). I also cast a vote for Raoul's if you are looking for an experince to take you back to "old" SOHO.

I like Snack. It's very small (I wouldn't go with more than 4 people). It's also Greek...does that count as "ethnic?"

You might try Rocco's on Thompson St, between Houston and Prince. It has been in business for 80 years and is very much a neighborhood place. I've been there a few times and have always enjoyed it. It isn't Babbo, but a great choice for a decent and reasonably priced meal.
