SOHO - Neighborhood Feel

Looking for help for a restaurant in SOHO. Have spent alot of money of well known restaurants. Now looking for a local, neighborhood place in SOHO to have dinner with my family. Not ethnic, nor eclectic, but to feel like the New Yorker I was when living there 5 years ago.

Thanks for the help!

  1. Broome Street Bar
    Lucky Strike

    1. Fanelli
Arturo's -- Not technically SoHo because it's on the north side of Houston, but close enough.

      1. You might try Rocco's on Thompson St, between Houston and Prince. It has been in business for 80 years and is very much a neighborhood place. I've been there a few times and have always enjoyed it. It isn't Babbo, but a great choice for a decent and reasonably priced meal.

        1. I like Snack. It's very small (I wouldn't go with more than 4 people). It's also Greek...does that count as "ethnic?"

          1. Raoul's.

            1. Another vote for Fanelli's.

              1. I really enjoy 24 Prince for a causal dinner. It is in NoLita (Prince and Mott). I also cast a vote for Raoul's if you are looking for an experince to take you back to "old" SOHO.

I have to disagree on 24 Prince. Not a fan.
