Canadian food for Canada Day!

We are heading out with friends for a nice Canada Day dinner in the GTA. I am looking for suggestions for good Canadian (whatever the heck that is!!) food. We are making it a mission to make the meal as canadian as possible since we usually do indian, thai, italian when eating out.
