Baltimore Cafeteria...

sumfood4u Jun 28, 2008 04:49 AM

We live in DC and are planning a trip to Baltimore. I have been searching for a cafeteria that I heard about a long time ago. I know they sell food and homemade textiles and the money goes to support developmentally disabled and the ederly. I heard the homecooking is great. Has anyone ever heard of it?
Also looking for a great place to have dinner at the bar. Steak, tapas, fish, asian...no italian. Too hot for all those carbs.
Thanks in advance

You're possibly thinking of the Woman's Industrial Exchange. Although they still sell handicrafts, their tea room/luncheonette closed and has been replaced by Sofi's Crepes: http://www.womansindustrialexchange.o...
